PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Macon Township, located in Lenawee County, Michigan, will conduct a public hearing on Monday, May 11, 2026, at 6:30 PM in the Macon Township Hall, 8320 Clinton Macon Rd, Clinton, MI 49236
The purpose of the hearing is to consider a variance request submitted by Aaron Burton for the property at 12075 Ridge Hwy., Tecumseh, MI 49286. The request seeks relief from Zoning Ordinance, Article XV Schedule of Regulations. The variance request seeks approval to reduce the required side yard setback from 20 feet to 3 feet to allow for the construction of a 42’ x 40’ barn.
Members of the public are encouraged to attend and share their views. Written statements may be sent to Joe Rine at jrinemacon@gmail.com and must be received before the hearing date to be included in the record.
This notice is issued in compliance with the Michigan Zoning Enabling Act, Public Act 110 of 2006, as amended, and must be published at least fifteen (15) days prior to the hearing date.
